Item 042. BEING SOLD. Long black ballroom dress.
A rather unusual long black dress with an extremely full skirt and `illusion' shoulders. I'm guessing 1950s. Too small for me I'm afraid: measured laid flat, waist 14 inches, bust 19 inches, length 57 inches. The fabric is some sort of chiffon lined with something like Tricel. A few marks and a small tear near the hem. Labelled `Dry clean'. Metal zip down the back. Perhaps meant for ballroom dancing?
